Prerequisites for an internship are a minimum duration of two months and a timely appointment with the program management.

  • Social media: Learn how to use social media for the library professionally and how to create exciting, target group-oriented content, especially how to promote our library.
  • Event management: Take responsibility for planning and organizing library events (monthly story time for kids, library tours) - from the initial idea to communication and implementation. Create unforgettable experiences!

Volunteer Activites

The DAI Nürnberg welcomes every request for volunteer work. Sometimes there is a need for native English speakers to offer certain program items, other times we need assistance in the library, and sometimes we need other kinds of help. We are also happy to employ volunteers for children and youth work.

Language Instructors

The DAI Nürnberg offers a large selection of English language courses with native speakers. Please note that we currently do not have any available positions for new language instructors.
