We offer schools across Bavaria the opportunity to hear entertaining and informative English lectures from our academic experts. You can choose from a wide range of topics, including human rights, racism, immigration, environment, globalization, and gun control.
At the DAI or directly at your school
The lectures can be held here at the DAI or at your school, depending on the size of your group, the distance and the availability of the lecturers. If requested, they can also be held online. All presentations are in English and are intended for students in tenth grade and up. We also offer some lectures for university students.

Lectures on Human Rights
Discover our new lecture series on human rights, which expands our existing workshop offerings.
These lectures explore how human rights, women’s rights, and children’s rights have evolved and what significance they hold today—from Nuremberg to The Hague to current social debates. Designed to be accessible, thought-provoking, and relevant, the lectures create space for discussion, reflection, and new perspectives on current human rights issues.

Lectures on Film and Media
Promote media literacy through hands-on film analysis!
In these interactive presentations, students learn not only to watch films but also to analyze them critically. By examining key elements such as camera work, mise-en-scène, editing, and sound, they develop an understanding of how films create meaning and tell stories. The presentations are ideal for English classes and simultaneously foster critical thinking, media literacy, and the ability to interpret cinematic techniques in a targeted manner.
