Library Card

Would you like to sign up for our Library membership and take advantage of our wealth of resources?   Here you can find instructions on how to sign up.

As of January 1, 2026, our library membership and fees will increase. 

All memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are nontransferable; for members of the Förderverein, library membership is free.

Yearly membership fee: €15
 
If you come to a library tour with your class of at least 5 students, we offer a student discount of €5 on our library card.

Library Loan Policy

  • Books: 28 Days with allowance of 2 extensions.

  • DVDs, Magazines, Tonie figurines, and Toniebox: 14 days with an allowance of 1 extension.

  • Renewals are possible (via our online catalog or by email/phone) if the item has not been reserved.

  • Newspapers and reference materials are not available for check-out.

  • Photocopying + Printing: €0,50 per page. 

  • Internet (non-members): €0,50 per 30 mins. 

Late Fees

  • Books, DVDs, and Magazines: €1 per item per week. 
  •  Tonie figurines: €2 per item per week. 
  •  Toniebox: €5 per item per week.

Apply for your library card. The card is valid for one year. The fee is 15 euros per year. Payment can be made via SEPA direct debit.
