U.S. Midterm Election Watch Party and DAI Soft Reopening

As the United States heads to the polls for its midterm elections, join the DAI Nürnberg at our new location for an evening of live coverage, expert analysis, and engaging discussion!

Follow the results of the elections as they unfold in real time with a livestream of American news coverage. Throughout the evening, our host, Dr. Sarah Marak (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg), will guide participants through the key races, battleground states, and candidates to watch, helping audiences make sense of the election's most important developments. During pauses in the coverage, Dr. Marak will provide expert insights into the political landscape and interview local Americans and election experts about their perspectives on this year's vote and its potential impact on the United States and beyond.

The event also marks the DAI's soft reopening, offering visitors a first opportunity to explore our new space on the corner of Marientorgraben and Marienstrasse and celebrate this exciting new chapter with us. Guests can also enjoy snacks and light refreshments while exploring the new space and taking part in the election conversation. Entry is free of charge and no registration is necessary. We look forward to welcoming you!
