Visa and travel information
As a German-American educational organization, amerikahaus Nuremberg is not a U.S. institution or a representative of the U.S. government.
We are happy to provide information on:
- which different types of visas are available
- which visa you need for your stay
Unfortunately, we cannot do the following:
- answer more specific questions
- apply for or issue a visa
In Bavaria, the Consulate General in Munich is responsible for this.

Information on applying for a non-immigrant visa and making an appointment can also be obtained from the Visa Information Service. German and English-speaking staff are available on weekdays from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
